REALIZE Band
The REALIZE Personalized Banding Solution is relatively new to the United States. The band is made by Ethicon Endo-surgery, a Johnson and Johnson company.
There are a limited number of surgeons that perform this procedure. As a matter of fact, only a few surgeons in the Tampa Bay area were hand selected to perform this procedure and Dr. Jessee was one of them.
The REALIZE program is made up of two key parts – the REALIZE Adjustable Gastric Band and Realize mySuccess™.
REALIZE Adjustable Gastric Band
- Designed with you in mind, the REALIZE Band was designed and developed with your comfort in mind. The band is a strong, flexible silicone structure made entirely of biocompatible materials.
- Gradual weight loss with the REALIZE Band, weight loss occurs at a natural and healthy rate— ranging from 1 – 2 pounds per week on average.

- With you every step of the way, REALIZE mySUCCESS is a personalized and interactive tool designed to help enable your long-term success. You and Dr. Jessee can set goals and continually watch your progress together – for up to 3 years – so that Dr. Jessee can intervene precisely when needed to keep you on track.
